| I finally got my power back. I have been out of power since Saturday afternoon. I got back from our LUKE 18 meeting and then my power went out. I ending up staying at my brother John's house Saturday night and I stayed at my parents on Sunday night (plus I took all my food to my parents freezer). Anyway, the lights and heat are on and just in time to get back to work. If your wondering why I don't update very much, it is because I'm on facebook now. Look me up and invite me as a friend. | I hope everyone is having a great Advent, I know mine is getting better the closer we get to Christmas! I'm very excited for my 1st Christmas with Sam and also for a Christmas of feeling better. I think the last few years I was sick during Christmas. As you know I was sick for the 1st month of my marriage, which sicks, but Sam took care of me, which is sweet! As for now, I am feeling much better and the doctors think they can fix my problem so I won't keep getting sick. They think what happen was that I was having an allergic reaction to the medications I was taking for other issues. So basicly I would take medicine to feel better, but as soon as I start to feel better I would start getting sick again (which explains a lot). Anyway, what that means is I need to try some different medications and when I figure out which ones work, I should have things under control. So I might actually be healthier in my 30s than in my 20s (weird huh?). Well, I will talk to you soon and I pray that Jesus continues to grow in your hearts and homes this season and the worries of life go on vacation. You are greatly Loved and in my daily prayers. | | |
| Well, it's been a while since I last made an entry. I hope everyone is doing well. As some of you know it has been a crazy month and I have been sick. If you were on the Fall Retreat you probably noticed that I wasn't fully myself because I had a hard time running around and doing some things (even being active in praise and worship). Anyway, I figured I would let you know what has been going on with me because I know a lot of you have been asking and care. I had been taking medicine before and after the retreat and just wasn't getting better. I was couphing up all kinds of gross stuff and I was having a hard time breathing. So finally on Saturday morning Sam took me to the hospital and I got a whole of of test and things done. I didn't get home until yesterday, Wednesday, and I still need to rest. I am feeling better, but I'm still not better. I haven't said much because I don't know much. All I know is that certain things (steriods, strong antibiotics) are helping me but the doctor is still waiting on other test results that should give him a better understanding on what to do. I will be going to see him on Tuesday.
I appreciate all of your prayers and I love you all. I want you to know that I am doing much better and not to worry because I will be seeing you soon.
Plus, I can't believe it but I'm really old today!
You are Loved, Tom p.s. I haven't checked any of my emails the past two weeks so don't be hurt if you haven't heard from me. I can only check them at work.

| 2006 has truely been a great year for me so far and I can't wait to see how it ends and 2007 begins! Think about it...I get engaged in Feb., another great LUKE 18 (largest group of guys attend and largest group of girls run it), CHRISTPOWER with seminarians, Steubenville (soo good they have 2), ITALY WINS THE WORLD CUP (can't tell you how cool that is...bragging rights for 4 years), Jim and Carrie get Married, SAM and I get Married, the CARDINALS WIN THE WORLD SERIES (last time was '82), and finally Alice and Joe got married! All of this happend and we still have 2 months to go, what else will happen to remember this year. I can guess a few like Fall Retreat and Christmas! What big events happened for you so far? You are Loved, Tom (sorry it's been so long since I updated) | | |
| Life really has been crazy lately. If you didn't know, my cousin Mike died last week. His funeral was Monday, so I didn't come into work (plus we drove all over town because the Funeral Home, the Church, and the Cemetery were at different areas in St. Louis). It was really sad because Mike was loved by lots of people and he has a young wife and 8 year old boy, Michael. It really will be hard for them. So please keep them in your prayers. I loved Mike too, but it has to be so hard for them. The good thing is that we have a God that loves us and as Christians we can look forward to coming back together some day. Plus, Sam and I's wedding is just around the corner. I can't believe we will be in married in a little over 2 weeks! We still have things to do, but I don't think anybody is ever completely ready. All I know is that I love Sam with all my heart and I'm really excited to call her my wife! Plus +, I'm just trying to get everything finished for work before my big day because I will be gone for 2 weeks and then get back to work a few days and then go to another wedding. And Confirmation is on Nov.4th and I won't be there so things have to be all organized before I leave. Finally, I'm listening to JOY FM online. It a Christian radio station. I don't really listen to it in my car because I don't get good reception, but I do get to listen to it at work. You should check it out sometime...It's not common to find a station with Christian Music and people that pray on the radio. Thanks for listening. You are Loved. | | |
